General Terms and Conditions – CityBookings

These terms apply to reservations and accommodation services provided by Lucky Office SRL and Lucky Apartments SRL (“CityBookings”).

1. General information

By booking or checking in, the guest accepts these General Terms and Conditions. Specific conditions confirmed for a reservation prevail in case of conflict.

2. Rates

  • Rates are per night and include 11% VAT.
  • Rate changes do not affect confirmed reservations; statutory tax changes may also apply to confirmed reservations.

3. Reservations

Reservations may be submitted by email, phone, WhatsApp, SMS, the CityBookings website or partner platforms. A reservation is valid only after written confirmation from CityBookings.

4. Guarantee and payment

  • A reservation is guaranteed after payment confirmation.
  • Direct phone or email bookings require a 50–100% advance; failure to pay by the stated deadline cancels the reservation automatically.
  • Online bookings may require a card guarantee for 100% of the value. Any remaining balance is due no later than one day before arrival.

5. Cancellations, no-shows and penalties

  • The cancellation policy shown for the selected rate and booking channel applies.
  • Non-refundable payments are not returned after cancellation.
  • Direct phone, email or WhatsApp bookings use a non-refundable rate unless confirmed otherwise in writing.
  • Late arrival without prior confirmation may be treated as a cancellation.

6. Check-in, check-out and parking

  • Check-in: 15:00–22:00. Check-out: by 11:00.
  • Early check-in is subject to availability and costs 150 RON.
  • Late check-out until 16:00 costs 50% of one night; after 16:00, one additional night is charged.
  • A refundable security deposit of 500–1,500 RON per room may be requested and is returned within 72 hours after check-out, subject to inspection.
  • Public parking is limited. Private parking at Monaco Grand Apartments costs 75 RON or 15 EUR per night per car, subject to availability.

7. House rules

  • Smoking indoors is prohibited. The non-compliance fee is 150 EUR.
  • Undeclared guests, excessive cleaning or damage may be charged; excessive cleaning costs 200–400 RON.
  • Illegal activity and commercial filming without written consent are prohibited.
  • Quiet hours are 22:00–08:00. Parties and disruptive noise are prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
  • Improper use of balconies, sockets, appliances, kitchen tools or other facilities is at the guest’s risk.
  • Triggering the fire alarm through intent, negligence, indoor smoking or tampering with detectors incurs a 1,000 RON fee, plus any intervention or repair costs.

8. Breach of rules

A guest who breaches the rules may be required to leave immediately without refund. CityBookings may pursue recovery of damages under Romanian law.

9. Guest Services

Guest Services is available daily from 07:00 to 22:00. After 22:00, call only for genuine emergencies; do not use WhatsApp calls.

10. Business travel

Corporate rates are available for business and repeat stays. Contact sales@citybookings.ro for a tailored offer.

11. Housekeeping

  • For stays longer than five days, full housekeeping is provided every five days.
  • A complimentary room refresh without linen or towel change can be requested every three days.
  • Early towel replacement costs 15 RON per towel. Please request services at least one day in advance.

12. Other provisions

  • CityBookings is not responsible for lost money, jewellery or valuables.
  • Pets are generally not allowed. Rare approved exceptions require a 300 EUR deposit and 15 EUR per night; unauthorised pets incur a 500 EUR penalty and cancellation.
  • The tourist tax of 10 RON per night per person is included in the room price.

13. Limitation of liability

Guests assume responsibility for how they use the accommodation and facilities. CityBookings is not liable for injury caused by improper use, particularly where children are concerned.

14. Data protection – GDPR

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679, Lucky Office SRL and Lucky Apartments SRL process personal data lawfully and only for contractual, invoicing, payment, security and statutory purposes. Data is confidential, is not sold, and may be disclosed to public authorities where legally required. Video surveillance may be used strictly for security.
